Policy for Dogs

Tokerau Beach Motor Camp is pet friendly and we welcome our guests who enjoy travelling and sharing their holiday with the family dog, cat or other pet. However, in High Season (around December 20th to 10th Jan) we discourage pets as the camp is very busy and pets can become disturbed.

To ensure all of our guests have a safe and enjoyable time, it is important that you read and abide by the following pet policy:-

Quite often dogs take on ownership of their families site, and we must be aware of the children...as they tend to gravitate to cute animals....or can be frightened....

There is a beautiful beach of 18 km for you to enjoy the experience of freedom with your animal, to play, run and swim........... and to be mindful with  respect of  the local community.

We  ask that you respect these conditions, so all can co-exist and  be comfortable and enjoy your holiday experience, and that this facility can continue to be on offer..
